Article 2: Purpose and description of the services
Reperio is an on demand object search service for furniture, decoration, toys, clothing, wine, collectibles, gifts and, more generally, any new, second hand or vintage object, in France and internationally.
The Client may submit a request via WhatsApp, email, Instagram message, Facebook or any other channel officially indicated by Reperio. Reperio may also use Facebook to contact collector groups and present its service to people looking for an object.
Reperio uses the means available to it, including internet monitoring, its network of antique dealers and sellers, specialist platforms and social media, to identify one or more objects matching the request.
Reperio has an obligation of means and not of result. The service consists of carrying out a serious and diligent search, without guaranteeing that a matching object will be found or that a result will be obtained within a specific time.
Article 3: Performance of the service
- The Client submits the request, description, ideal budget or price range and criteria.
- Reperio performs a standard search free of search charges, aiming to provide initial results within 24 hours.
- The Client may choose an express request with priority handling, for an additional €25 paid before priority handling begins.
If a matching object is identified within this period, Reperio informs the Client that a result has been found and sends a payment link for the success fee. The full listing link, seller contact details and information required to purchase the object are provided only after payment is confirmed.
If no object is found within this period, the search may continue as a paid monthly watch under Article 5 and with the Client’s agreement.
Where a result only partially matches the initial request, Reperio informs the Client before payment. The success fee is due only after the Client expressly accepts the partial result. Without acceptance, the search may continue as a watch, with no success fee due at that stage.
Where several options are proposed for the same object, the success fee is calculated using the listed price of the least expensive option proposed.
Article 4: Success fee
A success fee is due as soon as an object matching the Client’s request is found, whether or not the Client purchases it, unless the Client expressly requested that the search stop before a result was identified.
The amount is calculated according to the listed price of the object when the result is found:
| Listed price of the object found | Success fee |
|---|---|
| Under €100 | 15 € |
| €100 to €500 | 30 € |
| €500 to €1,500 | 50 € |
| €1,500 to €4,000 | 85 € |
| €4,000 to €8,500 | 180 € |
| €8,500 to €20,000 | 320 € |
| Over €20,000 | 2% of the listed price |
This fee schedule is provided to the Client before any search.
Article 5: Paid monthly watch
If no result is found within the initial period and the Client wishes to continue the search, it continues as a monthly watch subscription costing €12 per month.
This subscription renews monthly and may be cancelled by the Client at any time, taking effect at the end of the current month. The success fee remains payable in addition as soon as a matching object is found during the watch period.
Article 6: Prices and payment
Prices are stated in euros. Where the conditions of the VAT exemption scheme are met, prices are stated without applicable VAT under Article 293 B of the French General Tax Code.
For a standard search, no bank card is stored in advance. When a matching result is identified, Reperio sends the Client a secure payment link. The detailed result, listing link and seller contact details are provided after payment is confirmed.
Express request fees, where applicable, are paid using a payment link sent before priority handling begins.
If the search continues as a monthly watch, the Client then stores a bank card through Stripe’s secure system. This card may be used to pay the €12 monthly subscription and, where applicable, the success fee due when an object is found during the watch period. The Client is informed of any charge before it occurs.
Article 7: Purchase of the object found
Reperio never acts as a purchasing agent and does not make purchases on behalf of the Client. Once the object has been identified, the Client pays the seller or third party platform directly. Reperio does not collect the object price and is not a party to that transaction.
Reperio endeavours to check the consistency of listings provided, including description, price and apparent availability, but cannot guarantee actual condition, authenticity, availability at the time of purchase or the reliability of the third party seller. The Client must exercise the usual vigilance before making any purchase.
Some sellers or platforms may not deliver to the Client’s country of residence. The Client must check delivery conditions, arrange any transport or forwarding service and bear the cost. Reperio does not guarantee that a delivery solution will be available.
Article 8: Right of withdrawal
Where the Client is a consumer, the Client is in principle entitled to the statutory withdrawal period applicable to distance contracts, subject to legal exceptions.
If the Client expressly requests that the service begin before this period expires, the legal consequences are explained before confirmation.
Article 9: Publication and social media
As part of its sourcing work, Reperio may publish anonymised search notices on Instagram, Facebook and the Current Searches section of the website to seek proposals from sellers or antique dealers. These publications must not identify the Client.
Any later publication presenting the result obtained for the Client, including a testimonial or case study, requires specific consent.
Article 10: Liability
Reperio shall not be liable if the object sought cannot be found, for delays in the search, unavailability of an identified object or a dispute between the Client and a third party seller. Reperio shall also not be liable for the consequences of a purchase decision made by the Client based on information provided.
Article 11: Personal data
Personal data submitted by the Client is processed to manage the request and perform the service in accordance with the GDPR. It may be processed by the service providers actually used, including OVHcloud, Stripe, WhatsApp Business, Instagram, Facebook, Notion and automation tools.
The purposes, retention periods, recipients and rights are detailed in the Privacy Policy. The Client may exercise these rights at contact@reperiofind.com.
Article 12: Intellectual property
The Reperio name, logo and content of reperiofind.com and associated accounts are the exclusive property of Luguern Thach-Khe Elise EI and may not be reproduced without prior authorisation.
Article 13: Complaints and mediation
For any complaint, the Client may contact Reperio via WhatsApp, email, Instagram or Facebook.
After first submitting a written complaint, a consumer Client may use free of charge the consumer mediator to which Reperio belongs: details to be completed.
Article 14: Amendments to the Terms
Reperio reserves the right to amend these Terms at any time. The applicable Terms are those in force when the Client confirms the search request.
Article 15: Governing law and disputes
These Terms are governed by French law. To the extent permitted by law, any dispute shall be submitted to the competent French courts, subject to the mandatory rights enjoyed by consumers in their country of residence.
For business Clients, the parties may agree to the exclusive jurisdiction of the competent French courts.
